Compeer is St Vincent de Paul's companioning program that uses the power of friendship to help ease the lonliness of adults who are receiving mental health treatment and who are socially isolated. Volunteers spend an hour each week getting to know their 'Compeer friend' and sharing activities that they both enjoy. Such a small contribution of time and care can make a world of difference to someone who has lost flexible and enjoyable!
