  • Rev Dr. Gregory Morgan PP

    Parish Priest

    Fr. Gregory Morgan was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Sydney on 21 May 2011 at the age of 24, making him the youngest priest in Australia at the time. Following his ordination, he was appointed Assistant Priest at All Saints Parish, Liverpool, while also serving as a part-time hospital chaplain. Fr Greg holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Oxford. His research focuses on philosophical/theological jurisprudence and theories of natural law. His first book, Natural Law & the Secular Mythos, was published by Bloomsbury Academic Press.

  • Rev Fr. Noel Custodio

    Assistant Priest

    Fr. Noel Custodio was ordained a priest of the Archdiocese of Sydney on 19 September 2020. Prior to his appointment to Gymea, Fr. Noel was appointed assistant priest at Holy Family Parish, Mosman. He is currently finishing his Licentiate in Sacred Theology with a focus on Evangelisation at Sacred Heart Major Seminary, Detroit.

  • Natasha Amata

    Parish Secretary

    Natasha was formerly a Chartered Accountant for several years before deciding to devote more time to her family and children. She was delighted to accept the secretarial position and is overjoyed to be working for Jesus every day as the first point of contact at this parish. Natasha looks after the secretarial duties of the parish.

  • Maria Awad

    Parish Secretary and Bookkeeper

    Maria started working at St Michael’s Hurstville in 2012 as Parish Secretary/Bookkeeper. Since then, she has worked in various parish offices across the Archdiocese and has gained extensive experience in both roles. In her role as bookkeeper for the parish, she looks after all aspects of accounts including paying bills, administration of various appeals, planned giving, yearly audit of accounts and preparing reports for the Finance Committee.

  • Laurence Klein

    Administration

    Laurence supports our priests and staff with administrative tasks, technical support, event planning, and streamlining parish systems. He also co-coordinates the Gymea Catholic Men’s Nights. Laurence holds a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Theology and Philosophy, from The University of Notre Dame, Australia.
