Catechist Sunday is a special opportunity to:

• provide parish recognition to your volunteer Parish Catechists; in particular, those involved in Special Religious Education (SRE) in public schools
• raise awareness of your SRE Catechists, who go largely ‘unseen’ byother parishioners, to our Parish children, half of whom are enrolled in public schools
• recognise service through awards for Catechists who have given five, ten, or fifteen years of service
